It's Pandamania at VBS!
Are you ready for a wild adventure? It is time for the Miami Lakes United Methodist Church Vacation Bible School (VBS). Registration for VBS is now open and you should start marking your calendars for June 20th through June 25th, starting at 1:30pm – 4:45pm., for ages 4 years old to 5th grade. If you have a teen that needs community service hours, this is the place to get them while they are having fun. The fee for children is $20.00 for the week for those who register before June 10th and $25.00 after June 10th, we will have a Pandamania Blasting Water Slide and food on that Friday.
This year kids will be exploring a bamboo forest filled with crazy pandas, as they discover that God is wild about us! They will also participate in memorable Bible-learning activities, sing catchy songs, play teamwork-building games, dig into yummy treats, and experience electrifying Bible adventures.
The easiest way to register is to download the form, fill in the registration form and mail it with your check to Miami Lakes United Methodist Church or stop by in person. Same day registration starts Monday, June 20th at 12:30p.m. There is a waiting line so we encourage you to register before the start date. Check in will be in front of the Fellowship Hall to receive name tags and more information.
Again this year, kids will participate in the “make a change” mission. They will bring home a coin bag every day-please encourage the whole family to donate as much change as possible. Couch cushions are a great source. Bring it in to fill our five gallon jug. All the proceeds go to His House. This is a worthy mission the kids can participate in, and they will be helping children in need. Last year the children collected $260.00! What a difference a little change can make!
