Crop Walk was a great success!
Here are the numbers:
Miami Lakes Congregational Church had 75 walkers and raised $2,565.25
Miami Lakes United Methodist Church had 38 walkers and raised $1,181.00
St. Andrews Episcopal Church had 20 walkers and raised $1,339.00
MLUMC high raisers were Bob Murdock ($380.00), Katie Baron ($225.00) and Mackully Flanigan ($180.00). Congratulations and thanks for the hard work.
TOTAL $5,722.25 Thank you all and God bless you.
Spring Fling 2010 Saturday, April 3, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.
We will have crafts, Easter egg hunt, egg dying and face painting. There will also be a food tent, popcorn, snow cone stations and more fun activities. Mark your calendars. This will be a great family event you won't want to miss!
Confirmation Class
Our first meeting for the 2010 confirmation class will be on Sunday, January 24th at 11:30 a.m. If you have a sixth grader this year or older, we encourage your child to participate in this opportunity to become a member of the church. There are only eight sessions but they are all mandatory for confirmation. This is an important milestone in your child's life in the church and we will all be blessed with your participation and commitment. We are meeting after church in the pastor's office and lunch will be provided. Each session will run approximately 90 minutes.
Bible Study - Disciples Class II
Join us Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall for a thought provoking and spirit strengthening series that is sure to grow your understanding of the Bible.
Wednesday Night Dinners
Wednesday night dinners will resume January 13th at 6:00 p.m. and will continue every other week. Please sign up to prepare a dinner. Thank you.
Adults — $6.00 / Children — $3.00 / Families of 4+ — $20.00
"Kidz Rock on Wednesdays" 4:30 p.m.
The children's program "Kids Rock on Wednesdays" will resume January 13th. Stay for the family dinner that immediately follows at 6:00.
Senior Lunch Bunch
Remember, we meet the third Friday of every month at 11:30 a.m. Mark your calendars and check back often for the locations. Everyone is welcome. Come when you can. If you need a ride, just give us a call 305-821-7274.

Flowers
Ordering Sunday flower arrangements is a special way to honor or remember a loved one or to celebrate a special event. There are forms in the black attendance books or you can call the church office. Arrangements are $25.00. Write on the envelope or check that it is for flowers.
Communications & Deadlines
The Cornerstone—The deadline for each month's issue is the 15th of the previous month.
Sunday's Bulletin—Information must be received on Wednesday of each week for publication the following Sunday.
Ministries are responsible for submitting all information to the church secretary.
